Let's form our better together learning group

"Since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." 1 John 4:11

It's been a struggle for me to love lately. I realized that I have become tired of giving and loving. In my humanistic thinking, I said to myself, "Well, it's because I've been giving so much. I just have to rest a little, and may be I'll get revived."

But, this scripture brought me to the real issue, before the very feet of God. I don't love others anymore, because I have not been pondering on God's love for me. I have not been going to the scriptures lately as much as I need to. I remember how I used to go the Psalms to reflect on God's love for me. I guess I should go back to doing that.

The book "Better Together" suggested that we should discuss what we've been learning in a small group, probably 8, the most. I think this is a great idea. I'd like to initiate to form a small group like this, and if you're the one reading this article, I am inviting you to join me. Please let me know if you are willing to commit 2 hours of your week, every week in order to discuss what we've been learning and to help one another.

Here are the first 10 names that God has put in my heart:

1. Rose Cacho
2. Eileen Parreno
3. Kathy Rentino
4. Ethel Basilan
5. Lani Moore
6. Lolit Roque
7. Faye Monterola
8. Debbie Zantua
9. Shiela Canlas
10. Mabel Domen

Please let me know if you are available or interested to form this group with me. We will take turns faciliating the discussions. I think we need these sisters. Our busy schedules should no longer be an excuse. We should remember to give time to things that really matter, such as our relationship with God, and with one another.

I'll also approach you in the fellowship to follow-up.

Thanks sisters!

God is awesome :)

Ingrid
